Over five hundred (500) IP individuals from all ages joined the Kanduli. Mt. Firis is one of the the sacred place for the Teduray tribe.

Minister Melanio Umbit Ulama led the thanksgiving ritual “Kanduli” together with Tribal Leaders from different parts of Maguindanao, MIPA Personnel and visitors, hand in hand in praise and thanksgiving to the Almighty God for the successful month long celebration of Indigenous Peoples.

After the Kanduli, a short program was conducted followed by solidarity lunch.

Indeed, valuing, nurturing and honoring Indigenous Peoples reflects in the whole month celebration.

This activity complies the ministry’s mandates to preserve, protect and promote the welfare of the Indigenous Cultural Communities.
