The Ministry of Indigenous Peoples’ Affairs with deepest sympathies extended financial assistance to IP families who are victims of Typhoon Paeng. These Ips lost their loved ones, while others are injured and admitted at the hospital, as a result of the typhoon.

In Cotabato City, The Post Calamity Response Team under the leadership of Minister Melanio U. Ulama extended financial assistance to the IP evacuees from Datu Odin Sinsuat under the care of RH XI Brgy. Captain Bhoy Enderez Ismael.

In addition, the Team also gave financial assistance to the IP families in Villa Funeral Homes including family Lorenzo who lost their father Nazario Lorenzo and daughter Leiry Juana Indica Lorenzo Ibay and whose Mother Helen Lorenzo is currently missing.

The Post Calamity Response Team headed by Rosanne M. Imperial, Programs and Operations Division Chief, is currently undertaking other initiatives based on asessments of gathered data.
