Violence Against Women and their Children (VAWC) as stated in RA 9262, mandating government and non-government organizations to uphold the rights and dignity of women and children and guarantees full respect of their human rights.
MIPA, as the lead agency that protects the rights of the IPs in BARMM, conducted VAWC Training /Seminar among IP Leaders, Womens, and Youth in the Province of Sulu on November 11-14, 2022.
15 IP Women and Youth representatives from various barangays and municipalities of Sulu attended the three-day training/seminar.
